Toronto JKA Karate is located at the

Kingston Rd United Church, at Scarborough Rd, just one light west of Victoria Pk. Ave.

Street Parking is available on the side streets and free on Kingston Rd after 6pm.

The training area is spacious with our regular class sizes of 20-30 people working quite comfortably.

The Dojo will be closed on public Holidays and Opens 20 min. before the first Class

Located in the

Toronto Beaches Neighbourhood for 20 years and plays an active part in the community,

with food drives, and supporting the local schools and community with charitable donations.

TUESDAY

5:15 - 6:00 pm..........KIDS..............4—7 year old  (all belts)

6:00 - 7:00 pm..........KIDS..............8 - 12 year old (all belts)

7:00 - 8:00 pm..........ADULTS..........ALL BELTS split classes for higher and lower belts

THURSDAY

5:15 - 6:00 pm..........KIDS..............4—7 year old (all belts)

6:00 - 7:00 pm..........KIDS..............7 - 12 year old (all belts)

7:00 - 8:00 pm..........ADULTS..........ALL BELTS split classes for higher and lower belts

SATURDAY

10:00 - 11:00 pm.......KIDS...............ALL BELTS (split classes novice and higher belts)

11:00 - 12:00 pm.......ADULTS...........ALL BELTS split classes for higher and lower belts

12:00 - 1:00 pm........Special Class– by invitation only

Fees as of January 2012 (including Taxes)  

 

Semesters are approximately to 14 weeks

 

1. Fall semester is from September to mid-December.

2. Winter Semester is from January to mid-April

3. Summer Semester is from mid-April to mid-August

 

We will be closed for the last 2 of August, & Christmas Holidays

but open during March Break

 

 MEMBERSHIPS per SEMESTER  is as follows:

(no annual nor monthly registration, ONLY Semester)

 

ADULTS:...................... $240.00

STUDENTS:................... $230.00

KIDS 12 & UNDER:...........$220.00

 

That's an average of $5 per class training 3 times per week

or an average of $7.50 per class training 2 times per week

 

Private Classes with assistant instructors: $40 per hour.

Private Classes with Sensei : $60 per hour.

 

Guest Fee: $25.00 per class.

Family Rate: Highest paying member at full rate....others at 1/2 rate.

 

Annual Fee to the National Organization ($20 to be paid before February 1st)

 

As a member in good standing with CANADA JKA FEDERATION all members must be registered with said organizations.

Members are eligible to participate in various gradings, tournaments, clinics, seminars, black belt recognition, and officiating programs.

All instructors and high ranking belts may pursue theory, technical, and practical certification in the Certification Programs
