May 15th & 23rd. 2006 SPECIAL GUEST INSTRUCTOR visited our dojo

Imura Sensei - 7th Dan

JKA Headquarters – Japan

Assisted by

Saeki Sensei – 6th Dan

Canada JKAF Chief Instructor

important points from the seminar

when doing the knife hand techniques (shuto) keep the fingers together as tight as possible, the same as when making a fist

front stance, keep the front knee, slightly inside of the front foot.

Although the back knee has a slight bend in half front facing, the foot and knee should continue to point in the same direction as in front facing position

the hips, when doing back stance should complete its movement as late as possible at the end of the technique.

some double punching techniques use a single hip vibration rather than two
