The feedback received from the last Koyo camp was very positive and many attested that it was

the best one by far. We hope to continue in this tradition and also to show our guests that there

is a high standard of JKA karate here in Canada.

As usual, there will be dan examinations and will be up to godan level. Please see the

registration form for details. There will also be qualification exams for instructor level, examiner

Each year, there are more and more new faces attending the camp and we eagerly look forward

at the Fall camp in Ottawa it was quite an event with participation from Japan, United States, Chile and many JKA dojos within Canada. Sensei  Wilfred successfully attained his Yondan (4th degree black belt ) and his C kyu level of Referee certification. The tournament showed the excellent level

of the dojos as only the black Belts were allowed to participate.

Tournament is an event in which courageous people participate and compete with each other, whether or not medals are achieved, the main goals of building character,

good sportsmanship, courage and the ability to learn about oneself

to promote the learning experience must be maintained.
